Nursery School at Asbury First

Children at Asbury First

As a community of faith, we believe that children are sacred gifts to us. We offer many programs and events which encourage involvement among all ages to foster the best childcare, Christian education and program opportunities for the children. The two primary program areas are the Children’s Ministry and The Nursery School at Asbury First.

Children’s Ministry

Probably the most familiar of the two area, Children’s Ministry offers the Sunday enrichment and education programs for children, newborn thru grade 6. The efforts are coordinated through the direction and guidance of the Children’s Education Work Area. Visit the Children’s Ministry webpages for the latest news and information.

Vacation Bible School

Each year, in August, a week is devoted to enriching children’s growth thru various activities.

The Nursery at Asbury First

Our mission is to provide a traditional nursery school that offers three and four year olds an opportunity for emotional and physical development in a warm and nurturing environment. We help each child develop a strong self-image through growth in independence, imagination and problem solving.

The teachers provide a relaxed atmosphere for children of different backgrounds and cultures. Creative play and appropriate structured activities include art, music, literature, large muscle and outdoor play and field trips.
